Thanks

Yes, so what if life does not turn out how we wanted? So what if some others get more opportunities to smile and to be free?

I feel truly blessed to have the chance to live and see how God works in us in many different ways and how subtle his hand can be. I have seen God in those who suffer and let go… I have seen God in those who provide strength and happiness to others that have no hope or joy, and I have seen God transforming myself by achieving and reaching beyond things I never thought possible.

We have taken for granted so many blessings. I just think sometimes of people who have never seen the ocean or felt their body come and go around warm waves, those who have their loved ones sick or suffering for a particular disease or mental unbalance, those who don't have access to food or water, and others who simply know what is outside their window, nothing beyond their back yard. And it is disappointing, but those are the people around us… human beings like us. They breathe, they hurt, they love, they long for opportunities like the ones we have every day. They seek to reach higher, for another chance, for other options, for relief, for love, for patience, for being able to dream once again. They pray and cry to God for what you have and unconsciously or even carelessly waste every day.

This is an invitation to be thankful for your blessings, those that you know you have, and for those you have not noticed. Just be thankful to God for providing what he has to you and for giving you the chance of someday sharing it with someone else.
